Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, has been cleared for release by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). This has come after a week of legal and emotional scrutiny. The film was initially challenged in the Delhi High Court by the parents of late Major Mohit Sharma. He was a decorated Army officer. The film was at the centre of controversy after online chatter suggested the storyline mirrors real-life events. The High Court had directed the CBFC to examine the family's objections and consult the Indian Army if needed.
