Thestewartofny / Getty Images For context, Amy and Chris tied the knot in 2018, and the following year, they welcomed their son, Gene. On Nov. 6, Amy randomly reminded her followers, "Chris and I are still married," which, in turn, sparked a heap of speculation about their relationship. Soon after, a report from People claimed that the pair were "privately working through normal issues that couples in long-term marriages have." Mike Coppola / Getty Images "They are both committed to the relationship," the insider added. Well, now, Amy has addressed the conversation around her and Chris's marriage in a brief Instagram post. Gilbert Carrasquillo / Getty Images "Whatever ends up happening with me and Chris has nothing to do with weight loss or autism," she wrote after sharing an update on her health journey. Frazer Harrison / Getty Images If you didn't know, Amy has been very open about using Mounjaro for weight loss, and in this recent post, she clarified that she lost weight to "survive." "I had a disease that makes your face extremely puffy that can kill you, but the internet caught it, and the disease has cleared," she said, seemingly referring to her Cushing's syndrome diagnosis.

Meanwhile, Amy has talked openly about Chris's autism diagnosis, sharing in 2019, "I knew from the beginning that my husband's brain was a little different than mine. My husband was diagnosed with what used to be called Asperger's. He has autism spectrum disorder. He's on the spectrum. And there were some signs early on." Elsewhere in her post, Amy added, "Fingers crossed we make it through. He's the best." @amyschumer / Via instagram.com We'll keep you posted if/when more unfolds.
