While chatting with PORTER, Williams opened up about facing criticism of her body while playing tennis early in her career. "It was hard because when I was playing in the beginning - the first 15 years - my body was different," she told the publication. "I had big boobs; I had a big butt. "I had never taken shortcuts in my career and always worked really hard. I know what it takes to be the best," the Olympian added. She shared that it was "very frustrating" to be working so hard and not see the physical results of her efforts and dedication. Williams then expanded her family again in August 2023, welcoming daughter Adira with husband Alexis Ohanian, but shared that she wasn't able to drop more baby weight after two weeks.
