Anna Kepner's father Christopher Kepner wants justice for his daughter. We've been following the horrific story. On November 7, the 18-year-old cheerleader was found dead, stuffed under her Carnival Horizon cruise ship bed, wrapped in a blanket and covered with life jackets, after not showing up to breakfast and last being seen the night before. She was "mechanically asphyxiated by other person(s)," per her death certificate obtained by People. His parents have claimed the FBI is looking into him, but no official suspect has been named and no charges have been announced at this time. Nevertheless, Christopher told People on Wednesday that he wants his stepson to pay! While he declined to confirm knowledge about the teen's possible involvement in the killing, the heartbroken father told the outlet: "I do not stand behind what my stepson has done." He added: "I want him to face the consequences ... I will be fighting to make sure that does happen." When asked if he believes his stepson is responsible for Anna's shocking death, he replied: "I cannot say that he is responsible but I can't decline. He was the only one that was in the room and the FBI has an ongoing investigation in which they will have to provide the evidence to say that he did do it or did not do this." That said, Christopher noted that "he was a normal kid" and that he "would've never thought any of this would've happened." For now, the grieving dad is letting the authorities do their work: "Right now, my best course of action is to let the FBI do what they're doing. ... They have the evidence that they need. When they make the arrest then we'll start seeing the justice side of things." Oof. So heartbreaking for him and all of Anna's loved ones.
