The artist-real name Willie Ray Norwood Jr.-was arrested on Thanksgiving on suspicion of making criminal threats, Los Angeles police confirmed, according to NBC News. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call for assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence on Nov. 27 shortly before 4 a.m. at which point Norwood was taken into custody, per NBC News citing a statement from law enforcement. According to online arrest records, Norwood, 44, was released later that same day after his $50,000 bond was paid. Video published by TMZ-which has not been independently verified by NBC News or E! NewsÂ-on Nov. 27 appears to show an argument between Norwood and his estranged wife Princess Love, whom he married in 2016.
