Nbc / Getty Images The defamation suit - which has since been dismissed - featured several claims about Blake and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, including an allegation that Ryan accused Justin of "fat-shaming" Blake during a meeting at his penthouse in New York. He allegedly asked to "ensure he could safely perform the lift without injury." The filing then claimed that Ryan allegedly berated Justin in an "inappropriate and humiliating" manner while other celebrity guests walked in and out of the penthouse. Now, according to People, an unsealed email has unveiled new details about the alleged confrontation, and claims that Taylor Swift and Hugh Jackman were "present in the apt at the time" of the meeting. According to the alleged document, Ryan "unloaded" on Justin about "how horrible it was" that he'd ask about a woman's weight while Justin was visiting his NYC penthouse in April 2023. Her rep quickly released a statement that read, "Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history." Per the outlet, the insider claimed that Taylor believed Blake "timed her meeting" to cross paths with Justin. BuzzFeed has reached out to representatives for both Taylor and Hugh for comment.
