In 2022, People crowned another Marvel hero Sexiest Man Alive in Chris Evans, followed by Patrick Dempsey in 2023. That decision took a LOT of people by surprise as they argued the Grey's Anatomy star's heyday - when his star power was undeniable - was two decades ago. But controversy REALLY struck in 2024 when John Krasinski - the dude known for giving cheeky nods to the camera in The Office - was crowned. Sure, he hit a sexy spike in 2015 when he famously debuted a chiseled body, but by 2024, it had nearly been a DECADE since he made any real sexy noise. Rumors even bubbled up claiming John paid "millions of dollars to be 'chosen'" because "he knows that people are losing interest in him and he thinks that spending the money on the title is a good investment in gaining back momentum for his career."
