Debut director Kussh S Sinha takes a path less travelled with Nikita Roy, delivering a film that's more atmospheric than explosive and more intent on stirring thought than on cheap thrills. Set in a moody, gloomy London, the film dares to ask uncomfortable questions about blind faith, superstition and the exploitation of vulnerable minds in the name of spirituality. At the centre of this story is author Nikita Roy (Sonakshi Sinha), who is shaken by the sudden and suspicious death of her brother, Dr Sanal Roy (Arjun Rampal, effective in a brief but pivotal role).
