Justice is beginning to be served in the tragic murder of DELAROSA. Over the weekend, the up-and-coming singer was in the Northridge area of the San Fernando Valley with friends when three men allegedly approached her car. Per TMZ, the men demanded money from the Latin singer, whose real name is Maria De La Rosa, before opening fire in an "ambush-style" shootout. (@delarosaaaa) Initially, there were believed to be only two suspects in the shooting, described as Hispanic men between the ages of 15 and 20 wearing gray hoodies. DELAROSA's family expressed confidence that through security footage, including surrounding neighbors' Ring doorbell cams, that the perps would be caught. District Attorney Nathan Hochman named Francisco Otilio Gaytan, 27, Benny LiconGomez, 27, and Eduardo Lopez, 21. All three men have since been charged with one felony count of murder and two felony counts of attempted second-degree robbery. Gaytan was reportedly arrested the same day as the shooting, followed by LinconGomez the day after. Lopez has not yet been detained, but an arrest warrant has been issued. Hochman said in a statement: "This was a ruthless and targeted attack that stole the life of a young woman and artist and inflicted profound lifelong trauma on her family and the two survivors. My Office will pursue this case aggressively to ensure those responsible are held fully accountable for this senseless and deadly violence." Gaytan's bail was set at $2.18 million, while LiconGomez's bail was set at $2.28 million. When Lopez is captured, his bail will be set at $2.205 million.
