[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content] A well-known high school football coach in Virginia has gone missing after he was accused of possessing child pornography and using a computer to solicit a minor. And now, his wife is speaking out about this jaw-dropping situation. So, this shocking story started last week in the far southwestern Virginia county of Wise. There, Travis Turner (pictured above, with his wife Leslie Caudill Turner) is the head football coach of the powerful Union High School football team. The team is undefeated and is making their way through the state playoffs right now. But Coach Turner isn't there for it. Instead, he's a missing person amid the aforementioned child porn allegations. And then last Thursday, agents from the state's Bureau of Criminal Investigation were on their way - reportedly to discuss the allegations with Coach Turner. (Per the New York Post and others, state police officials have said they were NOT going to arrest him during that meeting.) But while en route to his home in rural Wise County, cops were informed that Turner was no longer there, according to multiple local media reports. And by Friday, the VA State Police had begun searching a wooded area out behind Turner's house, according to police sergeant Jason Day who spoke about it to News Channel 11. Day said to that outlet on Saturday: "He had went into the woods right near the general location of his house, and that's basically where we've focused our search on." But they can't find Turner! No one can! In a since-deleted social media post made on Friday night, Leslie addressed her husband's disappearance and begged that he would somehow return home to his family soon: "I just wanted to get on here for a second to clear up something, as of right now, 10:25 PM on Friday night, Travis is missing, & that's all we know. We love him & need him here with us. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love & support. It means more than you know. Just keep praying that he comes home." Oof! From there, this case has only gotten murkier. Like we said, Turner is accused of possessing child pornography and using a computer to solicit a minor. But when DailyMail.com reached out to Leslie on Tuesday, she said those accusations against her husband are not true. When asked by that outlet, she said: "None of that is true. He's a good dad and a good husband and we want him home. That's it." She was then asked if she had any more info to share, and she added: "I don't know anything. I don't know anything. I'm sorry. We are all just hanging in there until we get news." And when DM asked her to address speculation that has been going around that her husband could have possibly escaped with a rifle, she added: "I was told not to comment." Uhhh... On Friday, one day after Travis went missing, his employer the Wise County Public Schools issued a press release about how an unidentified staff member at the school was under investigation. That release said the staffer was placed on administrative leave: "At this time, a staff member has been placed on administrative leave with pay while an external agency reviews an allegation that was reported to us. This is standard procedure and not a determination of wrongdoing. The division cannot comment further." Then, when DM asked the school district about it this week, a spokesperson for the school added - again, without naming Turner or anyone else - that the staff member "remains on leave and is not permitted on school property or to have contact with students." But according to the New York Post on Tuesday night, Virginia State Police have reportedly now officially issued a warrant for Turner's arrest on five counts of possession of child pornography and five counts of using a computer to solicit a minor. Turner has coached at Union High School since 2011. This year, they are in the middle of an undefeated 12-0 season. After Coach Turner disappeared, interim head coach Jay Edwards took over the program for the team's latest win in the playoffs, a victory last Saturday in the state regional semifinal game. Union High School is next scheduled to play in the state regional finals this coming Saturday. What a story...
