Selena Gomez's mother-in-law's Monday night was far more terrifying than most. On Tuesday, NBC4 Investigates reported that an elderly woman was forced to hide for her life on Monday night when masked burglars broke into her Studio City residence in a frightening home invasion. That woman happened to be Benny Blanco's mother Sandra Levin. WHAT?! According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the home invasion occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. local time. The masked burglars, who were in dark clothing, reportedly broke a sliding glass door located on the side of the residence and entered the home through it. The LAPD reported Levin ran upstairs in a hurry to lock herself in a bathroom located within her bedroom. While hiding for her life, she heard the criminals make their way upstairs before opening a bedroom door. Related: Tara Reid Hospitalized After She Allegedly Got DRUGGED At Hotel! Fortunately, nothing was taken from the residence and no injuries were reported, according to NBC4. However, it's unclear if the burglars were armed. Page Six later reported that the crooks triggered Levin's alarm system, but were gone by the time authorities arrived. In footage obtained by KTLA 5, you can see shards of glass raining down from the shattered sliding door as police investigate the scene. Watch (below): We're so glad Levin wasn't hurt! We hope Benny and Selena hold her a bit tighter after such a scary occurrence. Reactions?
