After nearly coming in first place on Special Forces, Brianna LaPaglia is now sharing her nominations for the season 5 cast - starting with Taylor Swift and Kylie Kelce. "There are so many people I could pick, but I want to take the perspective where I want it to be funny," LaPaglia, 26, exclusively told Us Weekly. "I think seeing [someone like] Jake Shane on there and freaking out would be so funny." LaPaglia also had a few suggestions pulled from the ranks of fellow influencers. "I also think Remi Bader because she's been through the wringer and she's still trying to figure out what she wants and what she stands for," she noted. "I think she has a really good core mentality to her that she would be good on it. I've talked to her about it. She's like, 'I could never.' But I would love to see her try." A more out-of-reach idea was Swift, 35, and Kelce, 33. Fox Fall Schedule for New, Returning Shows: From 'Doc' to 'Special Forces' "Obviously, my dying wish would be to see Taylor Swift on the show," LaPaglia suggested. "Kylie Kelce - I would love her on the show. She's such a badass and she would just dominate it." Special Forces: World's Toughest Test, which premiered in 2023, puts contestants through harsh, military-style training based on actual Special Forces selection processes. They face intense physical and mental challenges designed to push their limits. Season 4, which wrapped up on Thursday, November 20, showed LaPaglia as one of the finalists taking part in the last challenges. Brianna LaPaglia Pete Dadds/Fox "When you think of TV shows, you think, 'It can't be that crazy'. This is nothing like a normal reality TV show. This isn't normal," LaPaglia shared, explaining how filming Special Forces pushed her emotionally and physically. "I didn't train at all for the show physically, but I wish I did. Mentally, I watched maybe a few episodes and I was like, 'What did I sign myself up for?'" For LaPaglia, the biggest challenge came from the Directing Staff (DS) pushing her to the limit. "They literally pulled me by my hair off the bus. It was traumatizing. We either have to lock in or get out," she recalled. "I was most worried about the way DS interacts with you. I know that they're supposed to - and they have to - but being yelled at and screamed at like that and how they put [me] down is traumatizing and scary in itself." LaPaglia acknowledged that the experience was "triggering" for her, saying, "In a dark way, I did feel like I could handle this because I've been through this. So I was like, 'Alright, I know how to react in these types of situations, sadly.' I think I handled it pretty well." Who Failed Selection on Season 4 of 'Special Forces'? Despite leaving minutes before the season came to an end, LaPaglia was proud of her accomplishment. "We were being tortured for 20 hours. So, at this point, I faced every single fear I ever had on the show," she told Us about her final day of filming. "I was more vulnerable than I had ever been in my whole entire life. I overcame so many things that I was going through both mentally and physically on this show. If I were to leave right now, I would be so proud of myself." She continued: "I accomplished what I came here to do. Of course, if I knew it was five minutes before the show was over, I would have held out. I don't even know how long we've been captured for because you don't know what time it is. [But] I came here to do what I wanted to do and I'm satisfied with leaving." Special Forces: World's Toughest Test is currently streaming on Hulu.
