A memorial for Celeste Rivas, the teenager who was found dead inside D4vd's Tesla, continues to grow outside of her home amid new developments in the case, Us Weekly can exclusively report. Us obtained photos of the site honoring the 15-year-old located outside the Lake Elsinore, California, home that she once shared with her family. In the photos, a poster with "Justice for Celeste Rivas" was hung on a chain-linked fence located on the right side of the home. The memorial features several stuffed animals, including Minnie Mouse and several Hello Kitty dolls, and flowers surrounding the poster. People have also placed numerous prayer candles on the street. In September, the community held a vigil on the street. As Us previously reported, Rivas was found dead on September 8, 2025, inside D4vd's car that had been abandoned near a home the musician was renting in Hollywood, California. Celeste Rivas' Funeral Held 1 Month After Her Body Was Found in D4vd's Car Rivas was reported missing last year and had been reportedly hanging out with D4vd, 20, (real name: David Anthony Burke). Rivas' mom claimed her daughter had a boyfriend named David when contacted by TMZ. D4vd was in the middle of a tour when Rivas' body was discovered. The remaining tour dates were canceled in the aftermath. The singer's label, Interscope, pulled all promotion for the release of the deluxe album of Withered, which D4vd initially dropped in April. The deluxe release was scheduled for mid-September. (D4vd has been releasing music since 2021. His hit "Romantic Homicide" came out in 2022.) In September, the LAPD searched D4vd's rental home and left with a computer and several other items. On September 29, Rivas' death certificate listed her cause of death as pending due to an ongoing investigation. An autopsy was performed but officials were still waiting on toxicology results. Officials noted Rivas was not pregnant at the time of her death. On Tuesday, November 18, TMZ reported that law enforcement viewed D4vd as a "suspect" and viewed Rivas' death as a "homicide." An investigation reportedly discovered that D4vd made a trip from Los Angeles to Santa Barbara in the spring. Sources told the outlet that D4vd drove to a "remote" location in Santa Barbara County and stayed there for hours. Singer D4vd Has Same Tattoo as 15-Year-Old Girl Found Dead in His Car TMZ reported on Saturday, November 22, that the cause of death could never be determined, even with the toxicology results. The Tesla was moved to a tow yard after neighbors complained about a smell, where Rivas' body was found. A law enforcement source told NBC4 that D4vd has "not been cooperative in the investigation."
