Courtesy of Netflix Logo text Are you feeling upside down trying to remember everything that unfolded in the wild first four seasons of Stranger Things? If yes, same. As the highly anticipated final season of the hit Netflix series approaches, there's quite a lot to remember leading up to this fifth season - like Will's disappearance, all the deaths and sacrifices (Barb, Billy, Eddie, Bob Newby and Dr. Martin Brenner, to name a few), Eleven regaining her powers and Henry being revealed as Vecna. And that's just a handful of key moments. But creators Ross and Matt Duffer have you covered. Below, the brothers reveal 10 things to The Hollywood Reporter that they recommend viewers should keep in mind before watching the three-part conclusion of Stranger Things. Remember, the Goal Is to "Come Full Circle" Image Credit: Netflix/Courtesy Everett Collection Logo text The minds behind Stranger Things can confirm that all of this beloved show's unanswered questions - even dating back to season one - are about to be answered, finally, across season five. Ross and Matt emphasize that they wanted the show's storylines to "come full circle" in the final season, and that's evident even in the first five minutes of the new season that Netflix released early, which confirms that the series' big bad Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) has been here since the beginning, as he was with Will (Noah Schnapp) during his disappearance in season one. "If you're going to rewatch anything, I would definitely rewatch those early seasons because it really is about tying [eveerything] back to seasons one and two," Ross explains to THR. "[Those] are the seasons we referenced the most, because we really wanted this to be circular and to come full circle. There are a lot of mysteries we set up and then intentionally did not answer in those early seasons." Ross adds, "I mean, season one, we didn't even know we were going to get a season two, but we still kept some mystery in there. For instance, what is the Upside Down? Why was Will taken, which obviously is why this season begins with a flashback to his time in the Upside Down." It's Time for a Rewatch (of a Few Episodes) Image Credit: Netflix/Courtesy Everett Collection Logo text For those who don't have an extra 35 hours to spare to go back and rewatch all the episodes from the first four seasons, the Duffer Brothers have picked four key episodes they recommend rewatching, as they help set up Volume 1 of the fifth season. Season two, episode four, "Will the Wise" Season two, episode six, "The Spy" Season four, episode seven, "The Massacre at Hawkins Lab" Season four, episode nine, "The Piggyback" "Season two is when we really started to build out the mythology and started to dive into everything, and how this was going to be an ongoing [series]. That's where we started to really plant the seeds for the mythology, and I think probably that's why that is as relevant as it is," Matt tells THR. "Season four is also highly relevant - 'Massacre at Hawkins Lab' is a good one." Ross adds, "That [episode] starts unveiling some of the Upside Down mythology and starts giving some answers, and, of course, all the stuff with Henry (Bower) and Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) continues to resonate throughout season five. Those are some good ones to revisit." What to Keep in Mind for Volume 2 and the Finale Image Credit: Netflix Logo text Though it feels like fans have been waiting a lifetime for season five (it's been four years since season four released), they're about to get a taste of the new season once Volume 1 drops at 5 p.m. PT on Nov. 26. However, all the waiting also leads to more anticipation, so Matt and Ross want fans to keep a few things in mind, especially after the Volume 1 climax and heading into Volume 2 and later, the epic finale, which will be playing on the big screen (more on that later). "I don't want anyone to overthink anyone," Matt says. "It's fun actually when [the fans] have all these theories as to what's going to happen. It's fun to read them. The vast majority of them are wrong. Occasionally, someone gets something." He continues, "It's not like I don't want people going in with certain expectations, because whatever expectations they have, hopefully we live up to them. But I really hope they go in like they would to any other season and enjoy it for what it is. I would get some chocolate pudding, some egos, some popcorn, whatever you need to help enhance the experience." Grab Your Headphones and Get in the 'Stranger Things' Mood Image Credit: Netflix Logo text There are many unforgettable things about Stranger Things, but music is high on that list. Since the show is set in the 1980s, often considered the "golden era" of music, there was no doubt that bangers would be featured throughout the episode
