Damson Idris spit In Brad Pitt's face while filming a scene for F1. Dan Mullan / Getty Images Imagine being a young actor appearing in your first massive film opposite a massive star. You'd surely hope you didn't do anything that would wake you in a cold sweat in the middle of the night for the rest of your life. Unfortunately for Damson Idris, he accidentally spat on BRAD PITT in the middle of shooting a scene.

On The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Idris (who plays a rookie driver opposite Pitt's mentor character), said, "We once did a scene where I had to scream in his face, and it was like the biggest scene for me. I was so nervous." And then - disaster. "I spat in Brad Pitt's face. It was an accident! It was a rageful scene!"Idris says Pitt "flinched a bit" at the surprise projectile... and then just kept powering through the scene. Idris, meanwhile, completely spiraled internally."In my head, I'm like, 'Oh my gosh, I spat in Brad Pitt's face! I'm gonna lose my job now," he joked. And then he shared a cringe-y detail I kind of wish he hadn't. "I watched the spit the whole take. It was just there dribbling down [his face]." Yeah, I don't know, Damson. You might need to quit acting and move to a cabin deep in the woods for the rest of your life (I know I would). 2. Henry Cavill got a very awkward and "unacceptable" boner on the set of The Tudors while filming a sex scene. Mike Marsland / WireImage Cavill told Men's Journal, "It was very embarrassing. A girl had to be on top of me, she had spectacular breasts, and I hadn't rearranged my...stuff into a harmless position. She's basically rubbing herself all over me and, um, it got a bit hard. I had to apologize profusely afterward. It's not great when you're in a professional acting environment and somebody gets a boner, is it? No, not acceptable." 3. This next story didn't happen on set, but it's so cringe-y I just had to include it. Taylor Kitsch pooped his pants while waiting to be called back for an audition. Jon Kopaloff / FilmMagic During an August 2025 appearance on Today With Jenna & Friends, Taylor Kitsch revealed a "secret" from his early L.A. days that I would've strongly advised him to take to the grave.

Back then, he was living out of his car, hustling between auditions, and relying heavily on caffeine. One morning, he grabbed an extra-strong coffee from a food truck on the way to an audition. Shortly thereafter, sitting in the waiting room in his clean, carefully chosen audition clothes, he felt something go very, very wrong in his bowels. Before he could make it to the bathroom, he crapped his pants. He finally made it to the restroom, peeled off the destroyed underwear, and tossed it straight into the trash. He then tried to salvage his outfit before - deep sigh - he still went in to read for the role, poopocalypse be damned. Bro, no! Just go home! WTF? And if you're wondering, he didn't book the role.

Kitsch later said the whole ordeal was "disgusting," but also darkly funny: "You haven't truly paid your dues until you've soiled yourself before an audition and still gone in because you need the job." You tell yourself that, Taylor. I am pretty sure you are the ONLY actor to have paid his dues that way. Like, I cannot picture Denzel Washington waddling into an audition having just shit his pants. 4. Kit Harington suffered a couple awkward traumas while filming the upcoming Gothic horror film The Dreadful opposite his Game of Thrones co-star Sophie Turner. Steve Granitz / WireImage Awkward trauma #1: After Sophie sent him the script and he liked it, he realized it had one highly uncomfortable element - he and Sophie, who played his sister for nine years on GOT, would be playing lovers. Harington told E! News, "I was like, 'These guys, these are lovers, right?' I felt very odd about that." He eventually texted Sophie about doing the film: "Yeah, I'd love to, but this is gonna be really f***ing weird, Soph."Sophie, for her part, later flipped through the script - really looked at it - and also realized the problem: "'Kiss, kiss, sex, kiss, sex...'" she told Seth Meyers on Late Night with Seth Meyers. "And then I'm like, 'Oh shoot, that's my brother.'"Things didn't get any better on set. She continued, "It's the first kissing scene, and we are both retching. Like, really, it is vile. It was the worst."I know, I know. You're thinking, 'Sure, they played siblings, but it's not like they were actually siblings.' I'd hardly call it "impossibly embarrassing." And if the story ended there, it wouldn't be in this post! But the awkwardness continued (for Kit at least):Awkward trauma #2: In order to get Kit in frame while making out with his not-quite-IRL sister, they had to put him on an
