We have a shocking update in the case of deceased teen Celeste Rivas. As we've been following, Celeste, who went missing at age 13 last year, was found dead, dismembered, and wrapped in plastic in the trunk of a Tesla owned by singer D4vd. The gruesome discovery was made after the car was reported abandoned in the Hollywood Hills - near the Romantic Homicide singer's home - and transported to a Hollywood impound lot. Early on, D4vd, born David Anthony Burke, was not an official person of interest in the death case, but red flags quickly began popping up as evidence seemed to suggest he was dating the minor despite now being 20 years old himself. Private investigator Stephen Fischer claimed to have seen items "sadistic" in nature in the home, like "things you could use to get rid of a person if you wanted to." He didn't get into specifics, but clarified it's "not a crime just ordering these things" - but that the items "don't belong in any type of environment like that." Then on Tuesday, a major update in the case came in as it was revealed that D4vd is now officially looked at as a suspect. Law enforcement sources told TMZ: "Investigators are looking at D4vd as a suspect." They also noted that Celeste's death is now officially being viewed as a homicide, even though the LA County Medical Examiner has yet to determine her cause of death... and a firm confirmation may never be declared as a chilling update just came in. On Saturday, sources connected to the investigation revealed to TMZ that Celeste's body had been frozen, which is making it difficult for the Medical Examiner to pinpoint her exact cause of death. The sources also revealed Celeste's remains were given to the Medical Examiner in gruesome conditions, as her head was apparently decapitated and her limbs were severed from her torso and hacked into multiple pieces. Her torso remained intact. The sources informed the outlet the body parts were "partially frozen" and were seemingly thawing out for a while when discovered in the trunk of D4vd's Tesla. So, so grisly. Other sources informed the outlet that since the Los Angeles Police Department's Robbery Homicide Division is viewing Celeste's death as a homicide, they can still move forward with their investigation and future arrests even if the teen's cause of death is ruled as undetermined.
