Streaming gives audiences the opportunity to stumble upon shows and movies that they might not have gotten a chance to see on cable or in theaters. Watch With Us is always on top of streaming content, and we want to highlight a handful of less popular or forgotten shows on Hulu that we think you should check out this weekend. Our picks include the British sci-fi comedy Misfits, the short-lived sitcom Party Down and the surrealist Adult Swim talk show, The Eric Andre Show. Read on to learn why we think you need to start bingeing these three shows. 3 Underrated Netflix Shows You Need to Watch in October 2025 'Misfits' (2009-2013) After a group of five juvenile offenders is sent to work in a community service program, they find themselves developing supernatural powers after they're all caught in a powerful electrical storm. Kelly (Lauren Socha) can hear people's thoughts, Simon (Iwan Rheon) can turn invisible, physically touching Alisha (Antonia Thomas) causes people to lust for her, Curtis (Nathan Stewart-Jarrett) can go back in time and Nathan (Robert Sheehan) eventually discovers that his ability is perhaps the most powerful of all: he's immortal. This British show combines science fiction, comedy and compelling character drama to craft a show that is unique and emotionally riveting, while performed beautifully by its talented young cast. While the premise is indeed absurd, Misfits nevertheless manages to be shockingly grounded. 'Party Down' (2009-2023) A group of LA-based struggling actors and writers work together at an elite catering company that takes on events like porn awards parties, singles mixers and birthday parties. While working gigs and hoping for their big break, they navigate their working relationships and the eccentric clients and guests at every event they do. Each episode covers a different event with the employees of the esteemed Party Down caterers. Party Down stars an ensemble of comedy actors including Adam Scott, Lizzy Caplan, Martin Starr and Jane Lynch. During its original, brief two-season run between 2009 and 2010, critical reviews were favorable, but nevertheless, ratings were low. In the end, the smart, sharply funny show snagged a cult following in the years since its cancellation, and it was brought back for a single-season revival in 2023. 'The Eric Andre Show' (2012-2023) In 2012, comedian Eric Andre set out to create a parody of low-budget, late-night talk shows with his absurdist, surreal interpretation, The Eric Andre Show. The eleven-minute show, which aired on Adult Swim, saw Andre and co-host Hannibal Buress freaking out celebrity guests who had no idea what they were getting into, interspersed by ludicrous man-on-the-street bits and a constant state of chaos on the ramshackle set. New on Hulu in November 2025 - The Full List of Movies, TV Shows and More While Andre's profile has risen a bit in the years since his show initially debuted (and part of the fun was celeb guests having no idea who he was, or what the show's deal is, and being genuinely frightened by it), The Eric Andre Show's return in 2020 following a four-year hiatus proved that Andre still has what it takes to torment celebrities - even if many of them know who he is. Plus, his man-on-the-street bits are more deranged than ever.
