Candace Cameron Bure is reflecting on her viral controversies with stars like JoJo Siwa and Hilarie Burton, and dare we say, her solution to solving the problem is rather shocking! As you'll recall, the Full House alum walked away from Hallmark Channel to take her talents (and more conservative values) to Great American Family. Promoting the rival network in 2022, she insisted the new channel would "keep traditional marriage at the core." She wanted to "promote faith programming," with every indication being that LGBTQ+ couples and families weren't included in that. She's also been accused of trying to get a queer character on Fuller House removed! Yeesh. Related: JoJo Siwa Shares Some STEAMY Bikini Pics With Chris Hughes! The conservative was BLASTED by tons of stars, including JoJo Siwa, who is queer, and One Tree Hill's Hilarie Burton. The former Nickelodeon child star infamously called Candy the "rudest" celeb she'd ever met before they launched an all-out feud over their different political views. Hilarie, a "lifelong Christian," also called Candace a "bigot," arguing: "Being LGTBQ isn't a 'trend.' That guy and his network are disgusting. You too Candy. There is nothing untraditional about same-sex couples." They both really WENT OFF on her! And while Candace initially tried to calm the waters with JoJo over the "rude" diss, those efforts soon vanished. It turns out that instead of trying to make peace, her new plan has been to pray to God to do her dirty work for her. HUH?! During Monday's edition of the Stay True podcast, Candace made time in between calling out her "manipulative" children and talking about the hardships of marriage to address these "weird" celeb feuds. Recalling the negativity she's faced, she expressed: "But it's just, like, weird. It's weird." As for her reaction to it, she said: "How do I handle them? I usually don't fight back in the comments, because nothing really comes from it." She argued: "I feel like when you fight back in the comments, it becomes defensive. I feel like the more people defend themselves, the less integrity it holds." So, instead of getting personally involved, she just lets others do the defending for her! "I let God fight my battles a lot online. I also let the other people who are genuine fans fight my battles for me too. Because sometimes they come in, they're like, 'She doesn't do that. That's not what she meant by that.' It just takes that self-control, that you're like, 'God, I just have to let that go because I'm not gonna please everybody, and just help me walk my walk that is honoring and pleasing to you as best as I can. Help me learn and discern.' That's the biggest thing." Have y'all ever been in the comment section on social media - especially when there's an argument to be fought and fans are trying to defend their favorite star? Those spaces are notoriously BRUTAL! Not a Christlike space! And she's encouraging that?? We don't care how faith-based her fan club may be, because sometimes, that's the biggest cover for mean girl behavior! Things can get so heated in the comment sections that other celebs have had to famously tell their fans to tone it down! So can you imagine if, say, celebs like Selena Gomez or Hailey Bieber admitted they're all for the fan keyboard wars? But we guess it doesn't matter to her how her critics are dealt with, though, so long as it's "in God's plan" as they say? Sigh. Perhaps a better plan would be to clear the air herself? Candace doesn't seem to trust her own reactions, though. She went on to say it takes "a lot of patience" for her to deal with the drama and a lot of "grace for people." She added: "I pray the Holy Spirit gives me self-control every day, especially in those situations, 'cause it feels brutal because you can't win. You can't please both sides - you just can't. So there has to be a point in your life where you just let it go." Fair. She's not wrong there. People will always have something negative to say. But it's one thing to let go and another to be endorsing fans attacking critics on her behalf. Would it not be more Christian-like to encourage people to just not argue... no matter what?
