Jonathan Ajayi, Austin Amelio, Jon Bass, Rohan Campbell, Henry Garrett, Sam Nelson Harris and Ben Weinswig have joined the cast of the military drama feature, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. Adam Driver, Anne Hathaway and Betty Gilpin were previously announced to star in the movie that is set to be released theatrically. Inspired by a true story, Alone at Dawn centers on an investigation following the death of Air Force Combat Controller John Chapman that would help lead to the Medal of Honor for his efforts in saving his fellow soldiers. The project is part of Amazon MGM's recently renewed first-look film deal with Howard and Brian Grazer's Imagine Entertainment. It adapts authors Dan Schilling and Lori Longfritz's 2019 book of the same name. Producers include Howard, Grazer, Jeb Brody and Allan Mandelbaum for Imagine Entertainment; Jonathan Gray and Matthew Rhodes for The Hideaway Entertainment; and Ron West for Thruline Entertainment. Also producing are Kristy Grisham, William Connor and Patrick Newall, while Michael Russell Gunn executive produces. Ajayi is known for his role in the FX/Hulu series Alien: Earth and is represented by The Artists Partnership and Range Media Partners. Amelio is known for Fear the Walking Dead and such feature credits as Hit Man. He is repped by UTA, Stride Management and Johnson Shapiro. Bass' credits include She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Super Pumped and The Newsroom. He is repped by Gersh and Rise Management. Campbell has appeared in the features The Monkey and Halloween Ends and starred on the series The Hardy Boys. He is repped by CAA, Webster Talent and Sol22. Garrett is known for Zero Dark Thirty and such series as Poldark, Peaky Blinders and Silo. He is repped by Untitled Entertainment and Scott Marshall Partners in London. Harris is the frontman for platinum-selling group X Ambassadors and has appeared in the films The Trial of the Chicago 7 and Spinning Gold. He is repped by UTA and Untitled.
