Emma Mcintyre / Getty Images For reference, Jude is now 52 years old and best known for movies like The Holiday, Sherlock Holmes, and the Fantastic Beasts franchise. He made his screen debut in the 1989 movie The Tailor of Gloucester, but did not get his big break until a decade later. In footage that was posted to the BBC's TikTok account earlier this week, Jude speaks confidently to host Fern Britton about the Disney film, which was originally released in 1961 but re-released to movie theaters across Jude's home country of the United Kingdom in 1984. (C)Walt Disney Co./Courtesy Everett Collection When asked if he liked the film, Jude replied: "Yes, I did, very much, but you could tell from the very beginning, it was all very predictable, and all the way through, you knew what was going to happen." BBC / Via tiktok.com "But yeah, I did enjoy it," little Jude continued. "It was funny, I liked very much the way, from the very beginning, the animals actually called the humans their pets, so it was very different, really. The whole story was actually told by the male dog, Pongo." BBC / Via tiktok.com Fern then asked him about his observation that the parent dogs in the movie have an English accent while the puppies have an American one, prompting Jude to inadvertently shade Americans. He said: "I think that was mainly because the American accent sounds slightly babyish." BBC / Via tiktok.com "There was a part where there was a little baby dog going: 'Oh, I'm hungry,' and the mother: 'Not now, dear,' and it was funny," he went on. "I actually didn't notice it until I was told by the friend I went with." And while Jude's reviewing technique might need some work, viewers were still obsessed with how little the Hollywood actor has changed over the years. Commenting on the TikTok, one person asked: "how is this possible? I dont sound anything at all like I did when I was 11 and here he is like a mini me version of him self." John Nacion / Getty Images "His way of speaking hasn't changed at all," another observed. One more agreed: "His mannerisms are still exactly the same!" Jude gave a thorough critique with presenter Fern Britton later saying he would make a good film reviewer... She was nearly right.
