[Warning: Potentially Triggering Content] A teenage apprentice worker in Turkey is dead after he was allegedly restrained against his will by two of his co-workers and had his intestines ruptured after they forced a high-pressure air compressor up his butt. According to The Sun via multiple Turkish-language media outlets, a 15-year-old boy named Muhammed Kendirci was allegedly tackled by co-worker Habip Aksoy and another unidentified colleague last Friday while on the job at a workshop in the city of Bozova, Sanliurfa. Aksoy and the other man allegedly bound Kendirci's hands behind his back in an apparent workplace bullying situation that they purportedly saw as some kind of joke or hazing ritual. Then, the two men allegedly took down Kendirci's pants, inserted the high-pressure air compressor into his butt, and turned it on. Seriously. Emergency first responders were called, and the boy was rushed to the local Bozova Mehmet Enver Yildirim State Hospital. There was little that could be done for him there, per the media outlets, who reported that he was sent on to Balikligol State Hospital not long after. But even that hospital could do nothing for him. He was eventually sent to specialists at the regional Harran University Research and Application Hospital. There, doctors were able to confirm the extent of his severe internal organ damage, and placed him in intensive care. Sadly, five days after the incident, the 15-year-old died from his injuries. So, so sad... As for Aksoy, he was arrested after cops in Bozova first opened their investigation. Turkish media outlets report that he was first released on judicial supervision days after the incident, though the ruling was apparently quickly overturned on appeal. An arrest warrant was then issued for Aksoy, he was arrested again, and in the second court appearance he was ordered to be held in custody. Now, an investigation is ongoing into the teen's death and whether Aksoy and/or the other man could be held liable. As crazy as this story sounds, per The Sun, this is NOT the first time this exact thing has happened around the world. That outlet notes a Japanese factory worker died from severe internal injuries in 2018 after a co-worker shoved a high-pressure air compressor up his butt while the two were apparently playing around at work.
