Kim Kardashian spent a good chunk of change to get back her father Robert Kardashian Sr.'s Bible! As Perezcious readers may recall, the attorney gave it to O.J. Simpson back in the day with a handwritten note on June 18, 1994 - the day after the football player's arrest for the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown, and her friend, Ronald Goldman. Following the death of O.J. in 2024, his estate put the Bible up for auction. However, Kim wanted to buy the family heirloom outside the auction for $15,000. However, the estate rejected the offer due to legal reasons. Malcolm LeVergne said the reality star could "bid on it online," and "she may even get it cheaper than the 15 grand." That, in fact, did not happen! She spent waaaay more! During a new episode of The Kardashians on Thursday, Kim revealed she placed an anonymous bid on the Bible during the auction after her initial offer got rejected. For how much? A whopping $80,000! DAMN! And with that much cash on the table, she won it back! Kim didn't keep the heirloom to herself, though. She gifted it to Khloé Kardashian. Aww! Unfortunately, however, Kim faced some drama while trying to complete her mission. She previously said on the show that she would have negotiated further before the auction, which upset the estate. Now, Malcom's responded to the episode. Calling it a "tax write off," he told TMZ: "Surprise surprise. I knew this reality show was part of the setup from the first time she called me.
