Candace Cameron Bure is committed to her marriage, but it doesn't sound so appealing! After revealing she had almost divorced her husband, Valeri Bure, Candace opened up about the highs and lows of their 29-year marriage on Monday's episode of the Stay True podcast. The Full House alum expressed: "We had great years. We had some years I wish we could take back and do over. It's a constant reevaluation." Related: Tiffany Haddish Is Married - To HERSELF! The ex-Hallmark Channel star explained that they're constantly having to "reevaluate" their own relationship: "I think year to year you have to reevaluate what's working, what's not. How are the schedules changing? And you have to continually adapt to what's new to figure out your rhythms, and the rhythms are going to keep changing." Because of this, she thinks "having a flexibility ... with each other as husband and wife [is important], because that's the first thing that's going to go." Insisting that "your marriage gets put to the test," the actress pointed out that having children made it all the more difficult: "You have kids that come in and they demand all of you. Then they get a little older and then they pit you against your husband. You don't even realize it. They're little manipulative beings that are so stinking cute." Jeez! We know she's kinda joking, but calling her kids "little manipulative beings" is rough! The 49-year-old circled back to the importance of "finding those rhythms and really finding time with you and your husband" on a deeper level. She expressed to the host, Madison Prewett Troutt: "If I could lend you some advice, that would be it. You have to prioritize the relationship." It's all practical advice, but it's certainly not going to entice anyone to get married! It doesn't sound very fun at all! As mentioned, this comes after she revealed on her own podcast in July that it was their 25-year-old son Levi who got them through a "rough season" and encouraged them to work on their marriage when things were headed toward a divorce. From a lady so insistent on "traditional marriage" it says a lot that she was going to call it quits! Hear the rest of her conversation (below): What do U think of her marriage advice? Does it signal there might still be some trouble in paradise that the longtime couple is working through? Or is she just being super honest about the reality of marriage? Let us know (below).
