The event, co-hosted by Medicube and sponsored by Olaplex and Reyka Vodka at West Hollywood's Holloway House, was tied to THR's Beauty Issue and its list of Hollywood's 25 biggest beauty moments of 2025. A trio of glam squads - and their A-list clients - graced the covers, with Julia Roberts alongside hairstylist Serge Normant, Greta Lee flanked by makeup artist Nina Park and hairstylist Jenny Cho, and Tessa Thompson accompanied by hairstylist Lacy Redway and makeup artist Alex Babsky. Upon arrival, guests were met with blown-up portraits from the Beauty Issue, along with a booth of Medicube products, a stocked Olaplex station offering engraved combs courtesy of calligrapher Stacy Shon, and the Reyka Vodka bar, handing out Reyka Cold Snap Cosmopolitans served in a glass made of ice (and mittens to hold it). Olaplex vp Lisa Bobroff also spoke, followed by Sir John, who told the room, "I am so happy to be here - honored to see every flawless face, blurred pore, every light that bends in the right direction. We're here to celebrate beauty but beauty is a feeling; I don't think you can always see it but you need to feel it. Do you guys feel it tonight?" which was met by cheers. Sir John Presley Ann/The Hollywood Reporter via Getty Images "To my glam gods, to the makeup maestros, to the hair architects, to the nail sorcerers, to the architects of glam in all different directions, you guys turn pure chaos into harmony and you guys know what that looks like in detail," the artist - whose clients have included Beyoncé, Zendaya and Margot Robbie - continued, noting how the glam squads are "behind every Hollywood fantasy and you guys get the chance to be seen and felt today. We don't always get the chance to be seen and necessarily felt; we're always behind the scenes, the Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo if you will." Sir John asked each person to give affirmations to their tablemates as he added, "This is a toast for everyone in this room to continue to be a destination, continue to use your hands, to do the work to make people feel beautiful and see themselves and feel warm at home in their bodies." Lacy Redway, Tessa Thompson and Alex Babsky Phillip Faraone/The Hollywood Reporter via Getty Images The rest of the night was spent over food and conversation - only interrupted when Sir John ordered a round of tequila shots for the room and led a toast for the evening's honorees - and guests headed out with a gift bag stocked with Medicube and Olaplex goodies.
