A subsequent Hulu docuseries about Belichick's first season as a college football coach also failed to come about. "At Vice TV, our sports programming caters to fans who want more than highlights - they want the stories behind the headlines," Vice TV president Peter Gaffney said in a statement. "Out of Bounds delivers that with fearless storytelling and a cultural lens that only Vice can bring. We're proud to partner with Vice Studios to give our viewers a front row seat inside some of the most fascinating sports stories of our time." "Sports is one of the few places where power, control, and reputation play out in front of the world and in real time," Vice Studios president Amy Powell said. "With Out of Bounds, we're building a franchise that takes that lens beyond the field: into the personal stories, contradictions and consequences that shape modern sports culture. This is exactly the kind of storytelling Vice Studios was built for." "Out of Bounds: Bill Belichick & Jordon Hudson" premieres Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Per Vice, the installment "delves into how the 8-time Super Bowl champion known for controlling everything - from his team to the media - now faces his greatest paradox: What happens when the master of control may no longer be in control?" "Out of Bounds: In Search of Antonio Brown" premieres the following week in the same time slot and "explores how Brown has fallen from one of the NFL's most explosive receivers to a viral spectacle - taking viewers through his series of legal trouble, erratic behavior, mental health issues and even an international manhunt, which have made him the cause for internet fodder," according to the synopsis. "Out of Bounds: Sports Gambling" will follow in 2026. Lee Hoffman executive produces Out of Bounds for Vice TV; Aaron Saidman and Eli Holzman executive produce for IPC, a subsidiary of Sony Pictures Television.
