"Mariah Carey got blackballed by her ex-husband, who was a record executive." -u/itsmeokayy123 Rose Hartman / Getty Images Context: Mariah has talked about how her ex-husband Tommy Mottola - the former CEO of Sony Music Entertainment, who is 21 years her senior - allegedly tried to restrict her sound early in her career. "I wanted to do more R&B, more urban music, and any time I would bring that up, it would get shot down," she told Harper's Bazaar earlier this year. "Billy Crudup leaving Mary Louise-Parker for Claire Danes." -u/HaddaHeart James Devaney / Getty Images Context: Billy and Mary dated for seven years after falling in love while starring in the Broadway play Bus Stop. However, they broke up when Mary was seven months pregnant with their son, William, in 2003, and Billy moved on with Claire (whom he met while filming Stage Beauty). In her 2015 memoir Dear Mr. You, which was written as a series of letters to men, Mary recalled the aftermath of the breakup, writing: "I am alone. Look, see? I am pregnant and alone. "For me, it's Khloé Kardashian getting cheated on by Tristan Thompson when she was DAYS away from giving birth. Then, Tristan getting caught kissing Kylie Jenner's BFF. Finally, Tristan sleeping with another woman on his birthday when he was still dating Khloé and fathering another baby with that woman." -u/madsdab Jerritt Clark / Getty Images Context: Roughly two years into their relationship, Tristan was caught cheating on Khloé days before she welcomed their first child together, True. Most recently, and arguably most shockingly, Tristan fathered a baby with another woman, Maralee Nichols, while he and Khloé were secretly engaged and preparing to welcome their second child together. 5. In her documentary, which didn't mention Francia at all, Selena said her "only friend" in the industry is Taylor Swift, prompting Francia to later respond, "Interesting." In response to a TikTok about the apparent snub, Selena said, "Sorry I didn't mention every person I know."The pair have since appeared to be on good terms. 7. Kim entered the chat, accusing Taylor of lying and saying that she "totally knew" about the line, before releasing infamous video footage of Taylor seemingly approving the lyric during a phone call with Ye. "Yeah, I mean, go with whatever line you think is better. It's obviously very tongue-in-cheek either way. And I really appreciate you telling me about it, that's really nice," she said.
