Real Housewives of Potomac alum Mia Thornton has been arrested for felony theft, Us Weekly can confirm. Thornton, 40, was arrested in Atlanta on Wednesday, November 19, according to jail records viewed by Us. "Officers assigned to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport responded to a wanted person call at the Customs and Border Protection office," a news statement from the Atlanta Police Department reads. "Officers identified the individual as Ms. Mia Fields-Thornton, who had an active City of Atlanta warrant related to a larceny involving an alleged furniture theft." According to the press release, Thornton was subsequently "taken into custody without incident" and transported to the Fulton County Jail for processing. A police report viewed by Us claims that Thornton allegedly stole furniture worth over $11,000 from a condo she had been renting in Atlanta, including radios, TVs, DVD players and other goods. The former Bravo star later tearfully revealed in bodycam footage that she was aware there was a warrant out for her arrest. Thornton is best known for starring in RHOP from seasons 6 to 9. She walked away from the franchise earlier this year. "With every new season comes a new beginning and I have some news to share," Thornton wrote via Instagram in April, announcing her departure from the series. "My family and I have made the decision to relocate to Atlanta, and with that, I will not be returning to The Real Housewives of Potomac next season." She continued, "The past four seasons have been an unforgettable journey, one filled with growth, lessons, and so many incredible memories. I want to thank Truly Original, Bravo, NBCUniversal and Andy Cohen for believing in me and giving me the space to share my story. "Big things are coming. 'I don't just make headlines - I make History,'" she concluded. "Atlanta, brace yourself. The empire has expanded. Thornton's family includes her three children. She shares son Jeremiah, 9, and daughter Juliana, 7, with estranged husband Gordon Thornton. Mia is also the mom to oldest son Joshua from a previous relationship. "Like all marriages, ours has had its ups and downs," Mia said in a September 2023 statement. "At this time, Gordon and I are separated, but my family is my number one priority, and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to make sure we are okay. We ask that you respect our privacy and give us the time and space to figure things out." Following her separation from Gordon, 71, Mia moved on with radio star Incognito before they split in December 2024. "Inc has worked really, really hard for his reputation and his career, he's 20 years in as a syndication radio personality," Mia said on Watch What Happens Live in January. "He feels as though this platform doesn't align with his brand. I respect that and he will forever be my best friend. ... It's fine."
