Spoiler alert: It didn't go great. Jenna uses the following conversational transition: "Speaking about the holidays and love in this rom-com, you have a very big love in your life right now." She's referring, respectively, to Minka's upcoming holiday-themed TV movie Champagne Problems and her relationship with Dan. Here's Minka's reaction: TODAY Before Minka had a chance to respond, Jenna referenced a post that she shared earlier this year on IG that featured a selfie with her and Dan. "This beautiful man has healed wounds in me he did not inflict - simply by being himself," she wrote. "By embodying true masculinity. The kind that is vulnerable, honest and loving. I thought I knew kindness. Love. Patience. Generosity. Care. I thought I knew how to be gentle. And then I met him." Jenna exclaimed amidst bouts of nervous laughter from her and guest host Olivia Munn - who, credit where it's due, did try to salvage the moment by bringing up that she appeared in the video for Imagine Dragons' "Cutthroat" back in 2021. TODAY After Olivia praised Dan and the band as "so kind," Minka briefly answered in the affirmative before embracing the time-honored celebrity interview strategy of "Bringing the conversation back to the thing you're actually here to promote."
