"I think you are a terrible reporter," Trump shot back accusingly during an Oval Office press conference on Tuesday after fielding what he called an "insubordinate" question. He went on to argue the broadcast licenses for affiliates of the Disney-owned ABC should be pulled during the White House presser with the Saudi Arabia crown prince at his side. And we have a great commissioner, chairman who should look at that," he added in reference to Federal Communications Commission chief Brendan Carr. His comments follow a series of denials and reversals by Trump over the so-called Epstein files and as Congress is set to vote on whether to release the remainder of the government files and evidence against the late convicted sex offender. Trump has shown his irritation in the last week when being questioned by reporters over the release of government files surrounding investigations into Epstein. On Friday, during a press gaggle on Air Force One, the U.S. leader told a Bloomberg reporter, "Quiet, quiet piggy," when questioned over the issue. On Monday, Trump said he will sign legislation to release the Epstein files after a surprise on Sunday when he reversed his longstanding opposition to such a move.
