The Real Housewives franchise is expanding to Rhode Island - and fans are in store for plenty of drama. In May 2025, Bravo announced that The Real Housewives of Rhode Island is set to premiere in 2026. "Set against the shores of the Ocean State, The Real Housewives franchise expands into the world of a tight-knit circle of Rhode Islanders who have deep community roots and families that go back generations," read the Bravo synopsis. "With aspirational lives, thriving businesses and tangled family dynamics, these decade-long friendships prove that in a state this small, there's no escaping your past ... or each other." Andy Cohen, an executive producer of the series, revealed that "the cast is incredible." "Rhode Island is such a small state, and they all kind of know each other and overlap, and it's an incredible group of women who have really interesting connections. I think it's going to really surprise people." In November, during BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas, the network released the first official trailer for the series, officially introducing the new cast to Bravo fans. Are Any Friends Going to Appear on 'RHORI'? Charles Sykes/Bravo While announcing the cast at BravoCon, Cohen revealed that The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania would appear on RHORI as a "friend of" role due to her connection to new Housewife Liz McGraw. "Rhode Island captured Dolores's heart years ago and she's longed to return ever since," a press release from Bravo revealed. "With her dear friend Liz McGraw living there, and a shared business project on the horizon, a sun-soaked, beach-filled summer is a natural fit for this Jersey girl." Is There a 'RHORI' Trailer? In the trailer, which debuted at BravoCon 2025, multiple women can be heard in a voiceover saying, "In Rhode Island, everyone knows everyone. People here, they don't look down on other states, but they are weirded out that other states exist." The women noted that the state is a "blip," but to them it is "the center of the universe." The trailer went on to introduce the new Housewives, promising lots of drama and rumors of an affair.
