"I don't know why this conversation is occurring, because it isn't important," Carrie said in a statement to The Daily Mail on Tuesday, July 29. "This only registered in my life to the extent that people in it, who were there for me through my divorce, did not want to see me hurt by anything further with regard to that situation."
