Tiger Woods was spotted in a rare appearance with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, at their son Charlie's high school golf tournament on Saturday, November 16. Woods and Nordegren, who married in 2004 and divorced in 2010, followed Charlie throughout the Florida High School Athletic Association Class 1A state championship tournament at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. Charlie, a junior at Benjamin School in Palm Beach, Florida, helped lead his school to a state championship with a five-shot victory in the two-day tournament. Benjamin School also won the state championship during Charlie's freshman year. He tied for the day's best score on Saturday. Charlie, 16, was tied for fourth overall in the tournament, cementing an already-impressive resume for the young golfer. Tiger Woods' Son Charlie Admits They 'Argue a Lot' in Father's Day Message While he still has a ways to go to match his dad's 15 major championships, Charlie currently ranks ninth in the American Junior Golf Association rankings, making a huge jump after he won the TaylorMade Invitational on May 28. It was his first AJGA tournament win. Charlie has not yet made a decision on where he will be competing in college and is the highest-ranked AJGA 2027 recruit who has yet to make a verbal commitment. At the tournament, Woods - who underwent lumbar disk replacement surgery on October 10 - looked to be in good health as he walked around the course. He and Nordegren spent six years married and welcomed two kids together, Charlie and his older sister Sam, 17. Getty Images Woods has had his fair share of relationship drama throughout the years. While he was in a relationship with Nordegren, news broke that Woods had been unfaithful to his wife in November 2009. Later that year, more than 10 women came forward with stories of alleged affairs and hookups. Nordegren stayed with Woods at that time as he entered a 45-day inpatient treatment program for what he said was a sex addiction, but the couple eventually separated in 2010. In March 2025, Woods started dating Vanessa Trump, Donald Trump Jr.'s ex-wife, and the two are still together. Since Woods chose to spend his weekend supporting Charlie, he did not have an opportunity to watch his girlfriend's daughter, Kai Trump, make her LPGA debut at The Annika in Naples, Florida. Despite not being able to make it to The Annika, Woods offered his advice to Kai prior to the tournament. Kai Trump Finishes in Last Place in 1st LPGA Tournament After Exemption "I mean, [Woods] is the best golfer in the entire world. I would say that. And even better person," Kai said in an interview with Fox News Digital on Tuesday, November 11. "He told me to go out there and have fun and just go with the flow. Whatever happens, happens." Kai, the 18-year-old granddaughter of President Donald Trump, finished in last place in the tournament after finishing +18 through the first two days. "The first day, I was definitely really nervous," Kai told Golf Channel on Friday November 14. "I think the nerves just got to me. When I went out there today, I felt very calm and peaceful to be honest with you. And, yeah, that's why I played better. She added, "I did everything I could possibly have done for this tournament."
