Justin Bieber is recovering from a "gnarly" injury involving a Onewheel electric skateboard. "My rib hurts so f**king bad, bro," Bieber, 31, said during a four hour Thursday, November 13, livestream on Twitch. "That s**t bro is hurting me bad, bro. I'm trying to play it cool, bro. This s**t is f**king with me." He then explained how the injury happened: "Chat, I f**king fell on my side on that Onewheel and landed on my [hip]. So, even singing, laughing, everything hurts." Despite the pain, Bieber went ahead with a planned rehearsal for the 2026 Coachella Music Festival, which will take place over two weekends from April 10 to April 19 next year. Event organizers announced the news via social media. Passes for the festival went on sale on September 19. Carpenter, 26, will headline both Friday events, which will also include performances from Teddy Swims, Ethel Cain, Katseye, Sexyy Red, CMAT, Dijon, Blood Orange and others. Bieber will headline the Saturday shows with The Strokes, Addison Rae, Sombr, David Byrne and many more. Karol G, 34, will headline Sundays, which will also feature performances from Young Thug, Laufey, Iggy Pop, Clipse, Wet Leg, FKA Twigs and Gigi Perez. The singer has mostly stayed away from the stage since 2022, when he cancelled the remaining dates on his Justice World Tour due to health struggles that included Ramsay Hunt syndrome and Lyme disease. His wife Hailey Bieber played a role in encouraging Justin to return to the stage. "Hailey was a big influence on Justin's decision to headline Coachella," one source close to the couple exclusively told Us Weekly in September. "She nudged him and is always in his corner hyping him up." The source added that the moment to return to the entertainment stage feels right to Justin, following the release of his summer 2025 albums Swag and Swag II. "He feels this is the best way to share his new music with fans and is very excited about the opportunity," the source added. "He is more in control of his career. He doesn't have people making decisions for him anymore. Hailey assured him now is the best time and has been incredibly supportive."
