The Valley stars Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei have differing perspectives on the day their divorce was finalized. "I will tell you, for me, the second I found out about Michelle and Aaron [Nosler], I was already done," Jesse, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, November 15, while attending BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas, referring to Michelle's then-boyfriend. "So, signing the actual pen to paper didn't do much for me, but I will tell you, you'll see a visceral reaction from Michelle." According to Jesse, while signing the divorce decree was not a big deal for him, the moment was "intense" for Michelle, 37. "I think the stamping from the judge was intense for her [and] emotional," he theorized. "You know, I had already lived through those emotions when I knew she had a boyfriend and all that stuff. I think, for her, [she was] finally done with the weight off of her shoulders. That happened for me the day she moved out of the house." The Valley's Michelle Admits Jesse Was 'Difficult' to Deal With Amid Divorce Jesse further teased that their divorce settlement will "play out quite interestingly" on The Valley season 3. Michelle, who was married to Jesse from 2018 to 2023, however, doesn't quite remember the moment the same way. "I'm not sure he should have said that," Michelle told Us on Saturday, November 15, referring to Jesse's comments about her apparent intensity. "He called me and he said, 'Did you see it's finalized? We're divorced.' That day, I actually was sad, and we had a conversation on the phone, and he said he was very sad too." Michelle further revealed that she and Jesse had a 45-minute "private conversation" that wasn't filmed for Bravo cameras. "We both were very sad but happy that it's finally over and we can both move on," she added on the BravoCon red carpet. "It was almost 10 years of my life, and we share a child, and I'll always have love for him, but I'm so happy." Rich Polk/Bravo; Todd Williamson/Bravo As Michelle and Jesse focused on coparenting 5-year-old daughter Isabella while simultaneously trying to finalize their divorce while filming The Valley, she found love with Aaron. They, however, called it quits in July. "He was what I needed in the moment. I just wanted support because I was dealing with my mom's situation and Jesse," Michelle recalled of meeting Aaron. "So, at the time, it was, like, I was happy, but now that we're not together, I'm so much happier alone and single." As for Jesse, he told Us that he "wasn't surprised" that Michelle and Aaron's relationship didn't work out. The Valley's Michelle Says It Was 'Incredibly' Hard to Film With Ex Jesse "I was kind of angry and devastated for Isabella," Jesse said. "Michelle had called me and told me it was happening, and that they were going to sit Isabella down because [the two of them] had just moved into his house. [Isabella] called me as soon as they told her, and she was bawling her eyes out, like, 'I want to come to Daddy's house.' So, Michelle brought her over." He continued, "I sat her in the bedroom, and Michelle sat in the living room, and I talked through, like, 'This is what happens in relationships,' and she was devastated. But, to his defense, he has opened the door to allow Isabella to FaceTime him, text him and he's confirmed that was OK with me. It's difficult for her, and that's all that I care about."
