So much for Meghan Markle's networking efforts, huh? If you haven't heard about the brewing feud between the KarJenners and Sussexes, here it is in a nutshell... Kris Jenner threw a huge party for her 70th birthday last weekend, full of A-listers. Even Meghan and Prince Harry came up from Montecito to mingle with the reality stars and other Hollywood glitterati. The Kardashians' in-house photographers got some nice snaps of them hobnobbing. All good, right? But then those photos disappeared from Kris' Instagram account! Kim Karadashian's too! What the hell? Word is Meghan was getting some backlash online for being out on Remembrance Day and not wearing a poppy. It wasn't even that, as an American, she forgot - because Harry was wearing his. She just thought the flower clashed with her ensemble, we guess? (Or too tricky to get hold of last minute in the US.) Anyway, their fix for this PR slip-up - allegedly - was firmly requesting the KarJenners take down all photos they'd posted where they appeared. But then you had the whole Streisand Effect - the sudden disappearance of the pics became more of a story than the initial hot water generated by outraged tea kettles in the UK. That's even worse for the Karjenners! As you might imagine, they're now said to be "annoyed with the Sussex camp" - a source told Page Six on Thursday they felt this controversy that had nothing to do with them is now "overshadowing" what was supposed to be "a celebration of Kris." And Rob Shuter said on his Naughty But Nice substack that a source told him: "Kris doesn't like being told what to do - especially not by royals who live in Montecito. She said if Meghan and Harry want control, they can have it - just not on her guest list." Well, it turns out Kris may not be the most furious, even though it was her shindig! A source told DailyMail.com that it was Kim who's really fuming! The insider spills: "Kim was like 'you've already been papped outside and you were at the Baby2Baby event the same night being photographed like Meghan Trainor and Paris Hilton so what's the problem?'" It's true, they did go to another event first, the Baby2Baby gala, and they were photographed there with Serena Williams. No poppy. So it's not like removing the pics changes anything. And what's more, their appearance was never the Kardashians' responsibility in the first place! To think you might not get photographed going to party for a KarJenner? That's just ridiculous, this is totally on them. The DM source says: "Kim is pissed off." Dang! We hope Meghan wasn't hoping for a role in All's Fair Season 2! Supposedly she was networking at the party, so... Doesn't this undo any good will she generated? Another source told DM that wasn't true, and Kim was cool about everything. But it kind of feels like she has the right to be upset, no?
