Beloved football coach John Beam, who was featured on Netflix's Last Chance U is dead at the age of 66. Beam was shot on campus at Laney College in Oakland, California on Thursday, November 13. His death was confirmed by the Oakland Police Department on Friday, November 14. "I'd like to begin by taking a moment to honor the life of a man deeply beloved in this community," police chief Floyd Mitchell said in a press conference.
