No one can accuse Netflix of just bidding its time until the fifth and final season of Stranger Things arrives later this month. The streamer has debuted a new thriller, The Beast in Me, that looks like it has the potential to be the new No. 1 on Netflix. That limited series is just one of the Watch With Us team's picks for the three underrated Netflix shows I can't wait to watch this weekend. Our remaining choices include a newly arrived sci-fi show from AMC+, as well as one of Netflix's wildest comedy series. Forget 'Stranger Things' - This Mystery Show Should Be on Your Netflix Watchlist 'The Beast in Me' (2025) The Homeland team of executive producer Howard Gordon and star Claire Danes has reunited for Netflix's new thriller series, The Beast in Me. Unlike Homeland, this is designed to be a limited series, and there probably won't be multiple seasons. Unlike her previous character, Carrie Mathison, Danes' Aggie Wiggs hasn't been broken by mental illness or obsession. Instead, it's grief for her young son and the dissolution of her marriage that crushed Aggie and kept her from being able to resume her career as a novelist. Then she meets Nile Jarvis (Matthew Rhys), a man strongly suspected of killing his wife, Nina (Brittany Snow), but no one can prove it. Even in her current state, Aggie sees Nile as a chance to rediscover her old passion and potentially write a new best-seller about his case. She pitches it to him as a chance to repair his image with the public. But Aggie is playing with fire, and it's only a matter of time before she gets burned. The Beast in Me is streaming on Netflix. 'Orphan Black: Echoes' (2024) The original Orphan Black is already streaming on Netflix, per a deal with AMC+. You don't necessarily have to watch the first series to get a handle on Orphan Black: Echoes, since this is largely a standalone spinoff. But there are some callbacks and returning characters that won't mean as much to you if you didn't see them in their original context. New on Netflix in November 2025 - The Full List of Movies and TV Shows Krysten Ritter stars in this series as Lucy, a woman who wakes up in 2050 without any of her memories. Given the original program, the inclination is to believe she's a clone. But that technology is outdated compared to what Lucy actually is. Two years later, Lucy has managed to build a life for herself and find love. And it all comes crashing down when a stranger arrives and attempts to kill her. To save herself, Lucy will have to unravel her origins and figure out who she's supposed to be. Orphan Black: Echoes is streaming on Netflix. 'The Vince Staples Show' (2024 - Present) The Vince Staples Show exists somewhere between Curb Your Enthusiasm and Donald Glover's Atlanta. It's the mixture of everyday humor and some absurdly over-the-top elements. Vince Staples, the rapper and actor, is not exactly the same guy as the Vince Staples on this series, but he definitely knows how to play himself even when things get wild. Season 2 finds Vince and his mother, Anita (Vanessa Bell Calloway), and his sister, Bri (Naté Jones), dealing with a death in the family. Unfortunately for Vince, Anita and Bri are also at each other's throats, and he's not always able to get them to back down. Dealing with the funeral and reading of the will is one thing, but some bizarre turns actually force Vince to fight for his life. It's not exactly realistic, but the only thing this show has to do is make us laugh, and it does. The Vince Staples Show is streaming on Netflix.
