Brittany Cartwright gave a major update on her and Jax Taylor's ongoing divorce during 2025 BravoCon. Us Weekly can confirm that Cartwright, 36, discussed their split during The Valley panel on Friday, November 14. When asked about the status of their divorce, Cartwright said she is "praying" for her divorce to be finalized by December. (Us Weekly has reached out to Taylor for comment.) The reality TV star went on to claim that her ex is "holding it up," adding that she has tried for 10 years hoping he would change, and that change did not happen. Cartwright later told the crowd that she's "definitely" getting her "sparkle back" as she enjoys life as a single mom. As their divorce proceedings continued, Taylor made the decision to step away from The Valley. Us broke the news this past July. "After an incredibly challenging year and many honest conversations with my team and producers, I'll be stepping away from the next season of The Valley," Taylor shared in a statement at the time. "Right now, my focus needs to be on my sobriety, my mental health and coparenting. Taking this time is necessary for me to become the best version of myself - especially for our son, Cruz."
