Gael Cameron is finally returning to Below Deck Mediterranean in season 10 as viewers watch her split from Nathan Gallagher. The midseason trailer premiered at BravoCon 2025 on Friday, November 14, and showed Nathan inviting Gael to visit before admitting that he "kissed" costar Kizzi Kitchener. Gael was subsequently left in tears as she questioned her future with Nathan. "I hate you," she told Nathan in the sneak peek while crying. "I hate you so much. Every part of me wanted to never see you again." Nathan said the heated moment with Gael was "f***king devastating," adding, "I may have lost the love of my life." Below Deck Med's Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher's Relationship Timeline Gael and Nathan met one season prior, but their relationship got off to a rocky start as she navigated a breakup from an offscreen boyfriend. Nathan, meanwhile, was clear about his immediate attraction to Gael, which blossomed as they continued to work together on deck. Nathan and Gael's growing connection caused them to nearly hook up off camera before production stopped them. "[The cameras] weren't on my mind," Nathan exclusively told Us Weekly in July 2024. "I was 10 tequilas deep. I didn't even know what a camera was exactly." Nathan added that he had "no game plan" when it came to his attraction to Gael, who was not single at the time. As time went on, we were just going with the flow," Nathan explained to Us at the time. "I was going with the flow. I didn't want to put too much pressure on her. I didn't want to set us up to hook up in certain areas or certain times. It was more of what was happening in the moment." Their romance ultimately fizzled out after production wrapped. Gael and Nathan later reconciled - and announced a surprise pregnancy. Their son was born in June, and the couple have stayed together while celebrating the major milestone. While Nathan and Gael have found love off screen, their brief split was documented on season 10 of Below Deck Med. Their costar Aesha Scott previously defended the timeline for viewers who thought Nathan was cheating on Gael this season. "He does do a very good job of keeping anything that he's dealing with internally in his personal life," she noted in September. "You can't really tell until he shares later on. Obviously, they had a rocky start. They had so much healing to do within themselves before they could fully commit to being with someone else. But they did the work. They came together and now they're in such a good place. It's really so beautiful seeing them together." 'Below Deck' Cast Through the Years: A Guide to Who's Dated Who While the season 10 trailer teased a possible romance between Kizzi and Nathan, the stew had a different story. "I wasn't looking for dating at all. I was single and I was seeing someone, so I wasn't actually in a relationship, although it does read like that. But [the guy I was seeing], Tom, and I had only known each other for two months," Kizzi shared with Us last month. "I also literally just wanted to have fun without the pressure. I wasn't looking for someone to catch my eye. I was just looking to have fun and be me." Kizzi added: "A lot can happen in a year and we're both in very different places now. But we were probably looking for similar things at the time and Nathan and I didn't have any connection. We hardly spoke to each other - to be honest - but the stress of work and being on a boat, I just feel like we were two people that did what you do on a boat. This is what happens in the industry. We're just two young people doing what young people do on a boat with no expectation and no connection really at all." As season 10 wraps up, Bravo has already renewed the series for season 11 with Captain Sandy Yawn and Aesha returning for a charter season in Croatia.
