"She took things to a very personal, almost evil level with some of the things that she did to Jessi [Draper Ngatikaura]. I was shocked that someone could do that to someone they're so close to. I think the audience will be shocked that everyone's able to be vulnerable and be accountable for actions in the past." Miranda Hope adds, "What you learn pretty quickly in this group is to always expect the unexpected. Even in moments where I found myself maybe a little shocked, I still wasn't entirely surprised. You always know that there's going to be twists and turns. It keeps things interesting in our friend group." Jessi Draper Ngatikaura's Confession Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger when Layla Taylor sat down with Vanderpump Villa's Marciano Brunette to get to the bottom of the rumors about him and Jessi Draper Ngatikaura. In Season 3, the hairdresser fesses up to their brief romance. "It was a very vulnerable moment for Jessi," Taylor says of the confession. "When something like that happens, you don't ever think it's going to come out. You think that you're going to die with that secret. It was a very hard moment for Jessi to know that this would be public. But I'm also very proud of her for how she handled the situation and her vulnerability and honesty in that moment. She didn't have to be honest and vulnerable with me. She could have still lied to my face and not chosen to open up about it. I'm really proud of her for just kind of taking it on the chin and taking what was going to come from it." Standing Up For Themselves With the drama at an all-time high and accusations being thrown left and right, Layla Taylor and Miranda Hope made sure their viewpoints were known. "With everything before the show, during the show, you almost get to a point where, at least for me, I know my truth," Hope says. "That's that, and take it or leave it. That's how I felt leading up to being accepted into or not being accepted into MomTok. I know who I am. I know what I have to offer as a friend. That's all it really did was push me to be more vocal and stand up for myself. For that I'm grateful." 'My Voice Matters' Layla Taylor echoes Miranda Hope's sentiment: "You have to know and stay true to yourself. Whisperings are going to go around," Taylor says of people accusing her and Hope of leaking information to Demi Engemann, who's now estranged from the group. "'She's spreading this,' and 'She's saying that.' I know that I didn't do that. They can think what they want, but in this group where we have very strong voices, you can choose to either cower down and sit there - like I've done in the past - or you can choose to stand up for yourself because you deserve to be heard and seen in the room as well as all the other women. That's the biggest thing that I've learned in this experience is that my voice matters as well." Famous Fans The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives has garnered many famous fans - most notably Mila Kunis. "Jesse [Draper Ngatikaura] and I went to a party for Hulu in New York a couple months ago and we ran into Ashton Kutcher," Layla Taylor says. "He placed Mila [on the phone] with us. It was such a surreal thing. I've been watching her in movies since I was little. So for her to know who we were was crazy and so surreal." For Miranda Hope, finding out Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick are fans was a shock. "Knowing that they've seen the show and are aware of any of us was crazy," she says, adding that they "told Scott that he should join DadTok."Season 3 of 'The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' debuts on Hulu on November 13.
