Topher Grace really loved reconnecting with his old That '70s Show costars on the 2023 spinoff, That '90s Show. "I had a blast doing that show," Grace, 47, exclusively told Us Weekly in a joint interview with his wife, Ashley Hinshaw, at the Art of Elysium's Heaven gala on Tuesday, November 11. "I only did the pilot with Ashton [Kutcher] and Mila [Kunis] and Laura [Prepon] and Debra Jo [Rupp] and Kurtwood [Smith], and to be able to spend a week [and] hang out, that was better than any high school reunion." Although he only appeared in a one episode of the Netflix series, Grace said it was great that "everyone got back together and got to hang out" after so many years. "We had so much fun, and now everyone has kids," he shared with Us. "Wilmer [Valderrama] came even that week, even though he was in another episode. But it was a blast. The show followed a group of six teenage friends - Grace, Kunis, 42, Kutcher, 47, Prepon, 45, Valderrama, 45, and Danny Masterson - living in the fictional town of Point Place, Wisconsin, from 1976 to 1979. Nearly 17 years later, That '90s Show premiered in 2023 andwas set two decades after the end of the original series. The Netflix series starred Callie Haverda as Leia Forman, Eric Forman (Grace) and Donna Pinciotti's (Prepon) teenage daughter. Although the show was set in the same fictional town, it mainly focused on Leia staying with her grandparents, Red (Smith) and Kitty (Rupp), for the summer as she navigated coming of age in the '90s. The event is hosted by the nonprofit organization, which is dedicated to healing and inspiring - qualities that Grace finds important to instill in himself and his children. "We are big fans of Lee Daniels. Can't believe he's the visionary this year," he shared. "It's kind of like being an actor. When you sign on to a movie, you go like, 'Well, who's the director?' That's always your first question. And when I heard it was him tonight, I thought, 'He's a genius.' ... I think the closest to Heaven is seeing the world through the eyes of a child and probably the second close is having kids and seeing it through their eyes."
