Woody Buena Vista Pictures/Courtesy Everett Collection The beloved cowboy character voiced by Tom Hanks is back for another rodeo. Toy Story 4 ended on a bittersweet note as Woody and Bo Peep jetted off to help abandoned toys find their owners, but it looks like he's found his way home now. 2. Buzz Lightyear Buena Vista Pictures/Courtesy Everett Collection Everyone's favorite toy astronaut is back for another mission. While Chris Evans voiced Buzz in the spin-off film Lightyear (2022), OG voice actor Tim Allen has been confirmed to reprise the role in Toy Story 5. 3. Jessie Disney Pixar Toy Story 5 will see Jessie the cowgirl (voiced by Joan Cusack) have a bigger role than ever before. "Sheriff Jessie is now in charge of Bonnie's room, with the recently deputized Buzz as assistant deputy," Pixar Chief Creative Officer Pete Docter teased in June. 4. Bullseye Disney Pixar Woody and Jessie's horse may not say much (or, uh, anything), but he sure is loyal. 5. Slinky Dog Disney Pixar Blake Clark reprises his role as Slinky Dog, a toy dachshund with a Slinky body. The late Jim Varney originally voiced the adorable attack dog, with Clark taking over the character in Toy Story 3 after Varney's death in 2000. 6. Rex Disney Pixar Fierce on the outside but anxious on the inside, Rex the dinosaur returns to face his fears in Toy Story 5. Wallace Shawn has voiced Rex throughout the series, but the actor hasn't officially been confirmed to return just yet. 7. Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head Disney Pixar Mr. and Mrs. Potato were previously voiced by the late Don Rickles and Estelle Harris, respectively. The fan-favorite couple has been a key part of the group from the very beginning, so we're glad to see they'll be back for round five. 8. Hamm Disney Pixar Voiced by John Ratzenberger, the animated piggy bank has appeared in every Toy Story film so far. While Hamm is confirmed to appear in Toy Story 5, it's still unknown whether or not Ratzenberger will be returning. 9. Combat Carl Disney Pixar The line of action figures can first be spotted in Toy Story (1995) when Sid blows one of them up in his backyard. They also have a supporting role in the Halloween TV special Toy Story of Terror! (2013) and appear briefly in Toy Story 4 (2019). Originally voiced by the late Carl Weathers, Ernie Hudson has been confirmed to take over the role in Toy Story 5. 10. Forky Disney Pixar First introduced in Toy Story 4 (2019), the quirky handcrafted spork is confirmed to return for the fifth installment, with Tony Hale reprising the role. 11. Karen Beverly Disney Pixar It looks like Forky's love interest, who first appeared in a mid-credits scene after Toy Story 4, is here to stay. The character was initially voiced by Melissa Villaseñor, but it's unconfirmed if she'll be reprising the role. 12. The Aliens Disney Pixar It just wouldn't be a Toy Story film without these little green creatures. Longtime Pixar employee Jeff Pidgeon provided the voice of the trio in the first four films, so it's likely he'll reprise the role again. 13. Bonnie Disney Pixar Bonnie, who was first introduced as one of the daycare children in Toy Story 3 (2010), is growing up. Now eight years old, she's developed a new fascination with electronic gadgets (much to the horror of Woody and the gang). Emily Hanh originally voiced the character, with Madeleine McGraw then taking over the role in Toy Story 4 (2019). It's yet to be confirmed who will voice Bonnie in Toy Story 5, but she'll definitely play a key part of the story. 14. Lilypad Disney Pixar Greta Lee joins the Toy Story 5 cast as Lilypad, Bonnie's frog-themed tablet who throws the toys for a loop. While details about the new character are still largely being kept under wraps, directors Andrew Stanton and McKenna Harris have described Lee's performance as "balancing a playfully antagonistic tone with
