"He looks fed up being paraded," the journalist told Daily Mail about the couple's appearance at Kris Jenner's birthday bash. "One day at a sports match and on another day, [they're] at a celeb party. Clearly, he is now worried about what revenge Prince William one day might carry out against himself and his ambitious wife." _ According to Tom Bower, after rubbing elbows with the likes of Jeff Bezos and Oprah Winfrey, Meghan Markle "ordered her staff to secure invitations for major celebrity events" in the future. "The duchess has become not so much a guest-for-hire but a guest searching for publicity," he said. "And this time she has landed a major party trophy. For the first time, she is mixing with A-list celebs. That's a great coup for a duchess searching for security and approval." _ Royal insiders expressed outrage over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's appearance at Kris Jenner's celebration. "It truly shows that Harry is so far removed from the rest of the family. These people may be stars in America, but the pure ostentatiousness is at odds with what Prince William is trying to do with his life and the monarchy," a source told Page Six. _ It's not only social events where Meghan Markle is expanding her network. The Suits star joined the cast of the Amazon Prime comedy Close Personal Friends, in which she will play herself. However, this venture might not be ideal for Prince Harry. "Meghan's decision to appear as herself in a Hollywood comedy film definitely emphasizes her shift towards the United States," royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told The Mirror. "But Harry still feels very deeply about his homeland and would like to spend more time in the U.K. The same cannot be said for Meghan, so there's a clear divergence in opinions there."
