He was taken to the hospital following complaints of breathlessness, and since then, his family members and close friends have been visiting him to check on his health. Shah Rukh Khan, Sunny Deol, Salman Khan, Hema Malini, Ameesha Patel and others were seen arriving at the hospital, showing their support and love for the veteran star. Hema Malini addressed the ongoing concern through her social media, sharing a picture of Dharmendra and reassuring everyone about his condition. She wrote that Dharam ji is under observation and is being continuously monitored, adding, "I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji who is in hospital for observation.
