Watch: Who Is Rymir Satterthwaite? Meet the Man Claiming to Be Jay Z's SonUPDATE: Rymir Satterthwaite has withdrawn his federal lawsuit against Jay-Z, who the 30-year-old alleges to have impregnated his late mom Wanda Satterthwaite during the '90s. "I did withdraw my case," Rymir confirmed in a July 27 Instagram video, adding that he dropped the suit because there was "a lot going on behind closed doors." ________ Rymir Satterthwaite is sure he is part of Jay-Z's bloodline. However, in a recent filing obtained by E! News, the rapper (real name Shawn Carter) says that Rymir, as well as his godmother and caretaker Lillie Coley, have been "harassing" him with the claim. In the documents, filed June 16, Jay-Z-who shares kids Blue Ivy, 13, and twins Rumi and Sir, 8, with wife Beyoncé-alleged that a lawsuit filed recently by the 30-year-old and Lillie is "just the latest" in what he calls "decades of harassment." "The fabricated allegations and claims have been addressed-and rejected-in multiple other courts," the documents read, "and Plaintiff's continued harassment of Defendant and disregard of those orders has already resulted in a contempt order." Jay-Z also requested additional time to formally respond to Rymir's lawsuit, which was filed on May 3, claiming that it was "not properly served" and that he didn't know of its existence until early last month. Indeed, the "Empire State of Mind" rapper's legal team requested four additional weeks to "evaluate the Complaint and determine how to respond or otherwise plead."readJay-Z Accuses Man Claiming to Be His Son of "Decades Long Harassment"Elsewhere in the 55-year-old's filing, he alleged that his team attempted to call Lillie herself for additional time to respond to the suit, but she hung up on them. Meanwhile, Rymir's lawsuit claims-as he has for many years-that Jay-Z is his biological father. "What began in the mid-1990s as Defendant's music career soared to prominence," Rymir's lawsuit, previously obtained by E! News, reads, "quickly evolved into a scorched-earth effort to bury a personal truth: that he fathered a child with a 16-year-old girl [Wanda Satterthwaite] who is now deceased." Rymir's suit also alleges that Jay-Z, "has neither affirmatively acknowledged nor legally denied his parental relationship with Rymir." The man claiming to be Jay-Z's son is not requesting reparational child support in his lawsuit, but instead general and compensatory damages related to emotional distress, reputational harm and loss of financial support, as well as "reasonable" assistance with legal expenses and costs.
