Fire Country's spinoff Sheriff Country revealed who was responsible for Brandon's death after Mickey's daughter, Skye, was arrested for murder. During the Friday, November 7, episode of the CBS series, Mickey (Morena Baccarin) investigated Skye's (Amanda Arcuri) case after being dismissed from her job pending her daughter's arrest. Mickey got help from her love interest Dawson (Wes Chatham) - who is also a DEA agent working undercover in Edgewater. After speaking with Brandon's (Charlie Henry Larsen) mother, Mickey linked his death to a drug dealer in the area.
