The Giudice and Gorga families are taking steps to repair their fractured relationship. Us Weekly can exclusively confirm Teresa Giudice and her husband, Luis Ruelas, met Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga for lunch at Willow & Whisk in New Jersey on Saturday, November 1. "The meeting went fine," one source shared with Us. "The conversation was about moving forward from the show drama. They are going to move forward, but it's not going to be overnight." While it's unclear whether the families plan on continuing any conversation or dialogue, both Teresa, 53, and Melissa, 46, are expected to attend BravoCon in Las Vegas from November 14 to November 16. Gia Giudice Reacts to Teresa Giudice and Joe Gorga's Attempts to Reconnect The source said the two Real Housewives of New Jersey stars are staying at different hotels. Right now, there are no panels with them together, but the big question is whether they'll be seen together for the first time in a long time. Behind the scenes, Teresa and Melissa are saying they will avoid discussing family drama on the Bravo show going forward. Although no one has a contract to return to the show just yet, the source said this is a preemptive move ahead of potentially being invited back for another season. (Us has reached out to Bravo for comment.) Season 14 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey ended in August 2024 with Joe and Melissa's relationship with Teresa and Luis, 50, more fractured than ever before. While the future of the Bravo reality show remains uncertain, a break in filming may have done some good for all parties involved. "We'll see what happens." She added, "I never really wanted this, and I'm always going to be team family always. We'll see what happens. We'll see where it goes. I do think, for all of our children's sake, I would love for everyone to get to a place of healing, and I would never root for this to go on forever." Teresa first revealed on the October 9 episode of iHeartRadio's "I Do, Part 2" podcast that she had reached out to Joe and Melissa amid their yearslong family feud. Joe, 51, later confirmed that he heard from his sister and was open to meeting with her. "She did text me. She reached out," he shared on the October 14 episode of iHeartRadio's "The Eds" podcast. "She would like to sit down and meet. I've never wanted to argue with her ever. It was not my intention. If I sit down with her and I hear her out, it has to be a lot of ... it has to be very humble. It has to be real. It has to be, you know, 'I've made mistakes,' and we can move forward." Teresa Giudice and Joe and Melissa Gorga's Biggest Fights, Shadiest Moments One extended family member hoping for a resolution is Joe Giudice. Although he had his fair share of drama with the Gorgas when he was married to Teresa, the former Bravo star said it may be best to "get over" the past drama. "I know they met Saturday," he told Us on Monday, November 3. "I mean, at the end of the day, it's still her brother. It's her only brother. Besides that, the cousins don't speak ... which isn't right. At the end of the day, you know what? I mean, get over it, because it's like, what are you gonna do?"
