On Friday morning, nominations for the 2026 Grammy Awards will be announced on a livestream beginning at 8 a.m. PT./11 a.m. ET. The livestream will be available to watch on the Recording Academy's YouTube channel.

The nominations will be revealed in 95 categories, starting with songwriter and producer of the year. Last year, Kendrick Lamar took home the most awards of the night, five, for song of the year, record of the year, best rap song, best rap performance and best music video. Beyoncé won the night's top prize for album of the year. Meanwhile, Chappell Roan won for best new artist and gave a headline-making speech. In addition, Amy Allen won the trophy for songwriter of the year as she wrote the lyrics to Sabrina Carpenter's "Please Please Please" and "Espresso," in addition to writing tracks for Tate McRae, Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Timberlake, Leon Bridges and Koe Wetzel. Daniel Nigro won producer of the year, non-classical, while Elaine Martone won classical. Presenters at the 2026 Grammy Awards will include Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Nicole Scherzinger, Mumford & Sons, Sam Smith, David Foster, Angélique Kidjo, Brandi Carlile, CeCe Winans, Doechii, Dr. Chelsey Green, Gayle King, Jon Batiste, KAROL G, Little Big Town, Lizzo and Masaki Koike. The host has not yet been announced. The award show will take place on Sunday, Feb. 1, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. It will broadcast live on CBS and be available to stream and watch on demand on Paramount+.
