Malayalam star Nivin Pauly and filmmaker Abrid Shine have landed in legal trouble over financial and intellectual property disputes surrounding their highly anticipated project, Action Hero Biju 2. The Thalayolaparambu police have issued a notice summoning the duo for questioning after producer PS Shamnas accused them of cheating him of approximately ₹1.9 crore.However, in a twist to the saga, Nivin Pauly has filed a counter-complaint against Shamnas, alleging forgery of his signature to fraudulently acquire title rights for Action Hero Biju 2.
