Meghan Trainor still doesn't care what the haters have to say. The pop star, 31, clapped back at people who have criticized her weight in a teaser of her unreleased song "Still Don't Care" via Instagram on Monday, November 3. "You say I'm doing too much, and you're probably right / That's the same s*** I've heard my whole life," Trainor lip-synched in a video as she danced to the music. "Said I was too thick, then I got way too thin / And I try to stand out, but I wanna fit in / You're a little too loud, stretch marks on your skin / Can't believe you're still here, girl, where have you been?" Leading into the chorus, Trainor sang, "Oh, let me take a moment / Think it over, does it touch me at all? / Nope, I still don't care." Meghan Trainor Claps Back After Fans Thought She Looked Unrecognizable Trainor wrote over the video, "My inner monologue lately." In the caption, she teased, "Just warming up πŸ’–πŸ’ŽπŸ«¦πŸŽ€πŸ’Ώ #stilldontcare." Fans expressed their excitement for the song in the comments section. "The lyrics we've all been waiting for πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ©·," one user wrote, while another person added, "TELL 'EM QUEEN!!!! πŸ˜πŸ‘πŸ”₯." "The work it takes to make the choice and do what it takes to be healthier and fit ... can't we just celebrate her for that?!" a third fan commented. Trainor's video came days after the "All About That Bass" singer took to her Instagram Stories to repost a mirror selfie taken by her trainer, Bella Maher, and shared on Maher's personal training page, Malibu Bodies. The photo showed the women coordinating in black workout ensembles as Trainor lifted up her shirt to show off her abs. Meghan Trainor, Bella Maher Meghan Trainor/Instagram "Progress. Power. Peace," Maher wrote over the snap. Maher showcased Trainor's progress in the last several months with before-and-after photos via Malibu Bodies on October 25 and defended the Grammy winner's use of Mounjaro, a type 2 diabetes drug that is often prescribed off-label for weight loss. "Watching her transform from the inside out has been one of the most meaningful parts of my work," Maher wrote, sharing photos from January 2024 and this October. "She did so much of this on her own before ever introducing a GLP-1, and even after starting it, the medication was simply a support, not the reason for her results. GLP-1s can be a powerful tool, but they're certainly not a transformation plan. SHE is the reason this worked." Maher continued, "She prioritized strength training, protein, intention, structure and showing up even on the days she didn't feel like it. She built this. She earned this. And now she gets to live in a body that supports her for life. SO proud of you, my girl!!" Trainor began her fitness journey after she gave birth to her and husband Daryl Sabara's second child, son Barry, in July 2023. (The couple also share son Riley, 4.) Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara Reveal They Went on Mounjaro Together Trainor opened up about her body transformation in a March Instagram post after she attended Billboard's Women in Music event, where she was given the Hitmaker Award. "Feeling so honored to be recognized by @billboard Women in Music as a Hitmaker - what a dream! But it's a little disheartening that so many of the questions (and comments) were focused on my body instead of my music, my passion or the decade of hard work that got me here. This is what it's like to be a woman in the music industry," she wrote. "No, I don't look like I did 10 years ago. I've been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me." Trainor explained that she lost weight by working with a dietician, making lifestyle changes and exercising with a trainer. She also admitted to using "science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!)" to help her reach her goals. "And I'm so glad I did because I feel great," she concluded.
